Haiko Emanuel

Haiko Emanuel (born 1958) has a master’s degree in Business Economics (Amsterdam), with a specialisation in international marketing. Within this field of expertise, he was associated as a part-time lecturer to the University of Amsterdam for several years.Haiko started his career as a consultant specialised in market entry strategies for emerging markets in the Far East in 1982. During this time, he also developed his interest in Asian cultures and languages.Haiko and Frank took over the Larive company from its founders in 1986. After that, the Larive organisation further expanded into the Far East and established in Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Due to this Haiko has extensive experience with doing business in both regions.

Haiko is specialised in strategic planning and structuring international alliances in emerging markets.

History

Larive owes its name to its founders.
As far back as 1975, the Larive family started with the creation of a network of offices, initially focused on Asia. In the beginning, companies were assisted whilst entering markets in countries as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
