Matthias Brienen


Senior Project Manager Larive International

Matthias Brienen (1983) received his master's degree in International Economics from Utrecht University, the Netherlands. After graduating, he worked as a consultant at an international accountants and advisory firm (Big4), where he advised corporate clients with strategic international investment and relocation decisions in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Afterwards, Matthias founded a grants consultancy firm together with a business associate. He advised companies in acquiring public funding and managed the grant acquisition process, with a focus on international market entree. This company was acquired by a rival in 2011.

Matthias joined Larive in 2011, where he manages public and private projects, performs location and feasibility studies and assists clients with market entry activities.

History

Larive owes its name to its founders.
As far back as 1975, the Larive family started with the creation of a network of offices, initially focused on Asia. In the beginning, companies were assisted whilst entering markets in countries as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
