FDI in China grows with 18.6% in first half year 2011

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in China increased 18.6 % last half year, taking the overall inward investment to US$ 69.2 billion. In July alone, a total of US$ 8.297 billion of FDI was brought to China, up 19.83% year on year, according to the Ministry. China approved the establishment of 15,600 foreign-invested companies during the first half year of 2011, up 7.89% year on year. In July alone, China approved 2,138 foreign-invested companies to start business operations, an increase of 2.69% from the same month last year.

Larive owes its name to its founders.
As far back as 1975, the Larive family started with the creation of a network of offices, initially focused on Asia. In the beginning, companies were assisted whilst entering markets in countries as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
