Larive acquires world leading water desalination technology

AquaSwiss AG, founded late 2008, acquired the exclusive rights to use the thermal desalination technologies of IDE TECHNOLOGIES for defined regions within the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia.

In these regions AquaSwiss AG offers a portfolio of thermal and membrane desalination solutions on EPC (Engineering Procurement & Contracting) as well as BOT/BOO (“Build Own Transfer/Build Own Operate”) basis.

The company, with a near 40 staff, has an Engineering and Technology center in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, a Sales & Operation base in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and a Saudi registered company office in Al Khobar.

Larive Holding BV is the holding company of the Dutch entrepreneurs Frank Zuure and Haiko Emanuel. Their partnership dates back to the mid Eighties. The main subsidiary of Larive Holding is Larive International BV, a business development advisory group specialized in the emerging markets of Asia and Central & Eastern Europe. Larive International is head quartered in Zeist, the Netherlands, and spans a network of 30 offices in Europe and Asia.
