Rom Senakant appointed permanent advisor to Thai Energy Committee

Mr. Rom Senakant, managing partner of Larive Thailand Co. Ltd, is appointed as permanent advisor to the Energy Committee of the Thai parliament. This Committee, consisting of MP’s of both government and opposition parties, is given the authority by the Thai Parliament to monitor the government’s energy policy. The Committee also initiates studies and provides recommendations on energy efficiency and environmental impact.

The special theme Rom will address in his advisory role is the government’s goal to reduce dependency on fossil type fuels and increase the renewable energy sources from the current level of 12% to 25% in the next 10 years in accordance with the Country's Power Development Plan.
