Burapa Prosper is located in Chonburi, Thailand, and active in the agro food sector. The company has been a pioneer in the production of high-quality rice flour and starch in Eastern Thailand.

Larive supported Burapa Prosper with the application for a PSI subsidy from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (“NEA”) as well as assistance during project execution to establish certified rice flour and starch in Cambodia, together with their Cambodian partner Aristo International Co. Ltd. During the application phase Larive arranged for the project plan, budget, financial model and all formalities, and during the implementation phase Larive was responsible for communication with NEA, progress monitoring & reporting, and compliance of the project’s activities with NEA’s obligations.

The project can be considered as a real success. The local company Bokor Rice Products Co. Ltd. has been established, the factory has been set up, operations have started, certifications have been implemented, and employees have been recruited and trained in several areas. The project partners are fully satisfied with their joint cooperation and the results achieved. They have created a strong local team able to operate the business and run the factory. In 2019, commercial operations will be further extended and (new) employees will be further trained.
