Larive supported Brink Towing Systems with the organization of a visit to several automotive OEM manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers in Thailand to assess the local automotive market and get information about the production volumes of tow bars; application purposes of tow bars in Thailand and how to sell tow bars to locally established OEM manufacturers. Furthermore, Larive assessed whether a Thai sales and assembly facility could potentially function as a hub for the OEM’s in the remaining ASEAN countries.
The reference visit was followed by the establishment of a legal entity of Brink Towbars Systems in Thailand, for which key-personnel (sales and assembly employees) have been recruited.
Bugaboo is a mobility concept creator and leading designer and producer of strollers and stroller accessories. Larive has supported Bugaboo with establishing its own legal entity in South Korea. Furthermore Larive helped Bugaboo gathering market intelligence, assessing the competitive landscape, identifying local distribution channels and certification requirements (safety testing regime). For the locally established entity, Larive identified key-personnel (country manager, marketing coordinator and sales representatives).
De Heus Animal Nutrition is a leading company in the field of animal feed & nutritional products for cattle, pigs, poultry and aquaculture. Larive supported De Heus with in setting up the legal entity in India, along with assistance in all registrations as well as setting up a bank account. In addition, Larive guided with deputing an expatriate employee into India, with respect to visa application, applicability and implication of taxes and review of secondment agreements.
BK Cookware specializes the design and production of all kind of cooking ware: cookers, pans, ovens, kitchenware and cutlery. Larive supported BK Cookware with developing a market entry strategy for China, assessment of legal options for establishing an own entity in China as well as all practical and procedural issues regarding such establishment. Along with this analysis, Larive compiled a feasibility study including financial projections for BK Cookware’s operations in China. In the end, Larive established BK Cookware’s WFOE.

Larive provided a strategic outline for DSM with a snapshot of opportunities for the food ingredients market in India.
