Lattice Consulting represents the Larive Group in Uganda. Specific project emphases has been on the food sector, with finalized projects including chocolate production, the first French fries production facility in the country, an upgrade of the largest nationwide bakery and numerous research and market-entry projects in the food and FMCG sector.

Lattice is a boutique finance and strategy advisory firm which offers specialized services across Africa. Lattice offers support with market entry advice and provides locally rooted legal and investment services. Lattice is known for its motto ‘Let’s walk together’. From the office in Kenya, the team also serves the local markets of Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.

The local team is headed by Winnie Ouko and Margaret Gatonye.

Ugandan Market prospect:
Some of the main reasons to do business with, or in, Uganda include a free-market economy with few limits on foreign investment and repatriation of funds, a rapidly growing consumer base, with 50% of the country’s population below the age of 15. Uganda is increasing its connectivity to the East Africa Community and has abundant agricultural resources. These and other factors have contributed to a growth rate of >6% of the last decade.
